About the Role

We are seeking reliable and experienced Machine Operators to join our growing production team. This is an opportunity to work with modern manufacturing equipment, develop your skills, and help produce high-quality bedding products for homes, hotels, retailers, and commercial customers across Australia and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.

• Set up, adjust, and monitor machines during production.

• Load raw materials and components into machinery.

• Perform machine changeovers and basic adjustments where required.

• Monitor machine performance and product quality.

• Identify issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and report faults.

• Complete quality checks and production documentation.

• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures.

• Perform manual handling tasks, including moving materials and finished products.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

• Work collaboratively with production team members to achieve daily targets.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Machine Operator, you will play an important role in manufacturing high-quality mattresses and bedding products.

Your duties may include:

• Operating mattress manufacturing equipment.

• Running production machinery such as quilting, filling, bagging, pressing, and assembly equipment.

• Loading and handling materials, components, and finished products.

• Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are achieved.

• Supporting efficient production processes across multiple areas of the factory.

• Learning and operating different machines as required.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking reliable, safety-focused team members who take pride in producing quality products.

Successful candidates will have:

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment

• Strong mechanical awareness and ability to understand production equipment

• Experience setting up, running, and monitoring machinery

• Ability to identify production issues and follow troubleshooting processes

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment

• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

• Ability to perform physical work and manual handling tasks

• Reliable work ethic and willingness to learn

• Forklift Licence (LF)
