It's our people who make the difference, and we're currently looking for motivated and reliable Tape Edgers to join our growing team at our NEW Site in Heathwood.
About the Role
Working as part of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating tape-edge machinery and assisting with the production of high-quality mattresses. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who take pride in their workmanship and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tape-edge machines to assemble and finish mattresses
- Ensure products meet quality and production standards
- Inspect finished products for stitching quality and defects
- Set up and adjust machinery as required
- Follow safe work practices and company procedures
- Assist with general production and manufacturing duties
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets
About you
We’re seeking motivated, reliable team players who enjoy hands-on work, are safety-focused, and eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. As well as:
- Previous experience in mattress manufacturing, upholstery, industrial sewing, or a similar production environment is highly regarded
- Experience operating tape-edge machinery is advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
